Full day - Everyday from 07.30-17.00 hrs.
After visiting the colourful and picturesque Damnernsaduak Floating Market, this enjoyable tour continues to visit the tallest Buddhist monument in the world, certainly an impressive site. The Pra Pathom Chedi in the town of Nakhon Pathom is 127 metres (417 ft.) high, visible for miles around, and its serene presence dominates the landscape. With origins dating back some 2000 years, it is Thailand’s oldest and largest pagoda, where Lord Buddha’s relics are enshrined, and is one of the Kingdom’s most revered landmarks. We proceed from here to visit the lovely Rose Garden (Sampran Riverside) where after a tasty buffet lunch, the afternoon concludes with a superbly produced and very enjoyable cultural show. This features many different performances including a Buddhist ordination procession, a traditional Thai wedding ceremony, the famous ‘fingernail dance’ Thai boxing and martial arts, Thai festivals and celebrations, plus hill tribe and folk dances and concludes with an entertaining elephant show.
