AFB27-Safari World article

Safari World occupies a vast area of 480 acres, and is home to a wide variety of creatures including giraffes, zebras, lions, and tigers plus many other animals, birds and marine life. It offers a number of different and enjoyable attractions, and is perhaps best described as a unique combination between a huge wild life park, a large zoo, and a venue for highly entertaining circus-like acts. For those who enjoy the foregoing mix, it makes a perfect choice for a day out. The tour includes a 45-minute 8-kilometre ride through the park, allowing visitors to observe uncaged wild beasts roaming free in their natural habitat, viewed from the safety of a moving vehicle. This can provide exciting encounters with rare and endangered species, plus some superb photo opportunities. Added to this are a number of highly entertaining shows involving trained animals, birds and dolphins, with the hilarious orangutan Thai boxing contest usually reaching the top of everybody’s favourites list. To add yet more variety, there is also a cowboy stunt show, and many other spectator attractions, fit for the whole family.
