Day 1 Bangkok
On arrival at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel in the centre of the city.
Day 2 Bangkok
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is an amazing metropolis, blending traditional Thai culture with modern, bustling city life, it will both surprise and delight you.
After a leisurely breakfast this morning enjoy a stroll around the vicinity of your hotel, then take a tuk tuk or Skytrain to one of Bangkok’s fantastic inner-city shopping malls.
Tonight you will be taken to Thailand’s spectacular must-see stage show, Siam Niramit, an enchantingly beautiful celebration of Thailand’s heritage and culture.
Dinner before the show, in the theatre restaurant, is included.
Day 3 Bangkok
This morning your guide will meet you at the hotel for your Chaophraya River and Canal cruise.
You will see bustling river + canal life, the iconic Wat Arun [Temple of the Dawn], tropical gardens, houses perched over the water, locals going about their daily lives: this intimate view of Bangkok on the water will give you a wholly different perspective of this unique and exhilarating Thai capital.
Free time this afternoon to relax, then perhaps do some shopping later this evening in one of Bangkok’s night-markets.
Day 4 Bangkok
Your guide will pick you up this morning for your sightseeing tour of the Royal Grand Palace + the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple.
Free time this afternoon to relax, or do some last-chance shopping, then get ready for a special last-night in Thailand’s capital. .
This evening you will be welcomed aboard a luxury riverboat for a romantic 2-hour dinner-cruise along the magical moonlit Chaophraya River.
Enjoy delicious Thai cuisine whilst drifting gently past many wonderful floodlit riverside landmarks, including the stunningly beautiful Temple of the Dawn and the Royal Grand Palace. Talented on-board musicians and singers will help make this a truly memorable experience.
Day 5 Bangkok to Sukhothai
This morning you will be driven by private car to Sukhothai, Thailand’s first capital city which flourished between 1238-1376.
Enjoy the scenery and Thai landscape en-route, there will be time for photo stops and for lunch.
Arrive in Old Sukhothai mid-afternoon, you will then be checked-in to your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to refresh and relax. [Legenda Sukhothai Hotel]
Day 6 Sukhothai
Today, after breakfast, your guide will take you to the Sukhothai Historic Park, where you will see the impressive temple ruins that make this such an important World Heritage site.
Afterwards you have free time to explore [by bicycle if you like] Old Sukhothai and it’s surrounds, just enjoy the gentle atmosphere of this lovely old town.
Day 7 Sukhothai to Chiang Mai
Continue your journey northwards, by private car with driver, to Chiang Mai where you will arrive at lunchtime.
After you’ve been checked in to your hotel, rest and relax for a while, then your guide will take you on a short sightseeing tour of Thailand’s second largest city.
This evening you might like to spend a little time browsing through Chiang Mai’s famous night-market.
Day 8 Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong
Time for a leisurely breakfast this morning, then your driver-guide will pick you up and you’ll set off for Chiang Khong.
An unhurried journey will give you plenty of opportunities for photo stops, and lunch, enroute: you will pass through much delightful scenery and late this afternoon you will arrive in Chiang Khong, alongside the Mekong river.

Day 9 Chiang Khong to Pakbeng [Laos]
After breakfast you will be taken to the Thai border post on the banks of the Mekong river, then by longtail boat to Huay Xai on the Laos side of the river.
Once border formalities have been completed you will embark on the Luangsay riverboat, then you begin your 2-day trip along one of the great rivers of the world … the mighty Mekong.
Lunch, and coffee + tea, is provided on the comfortable Luangsay riverboat on both days.
As you journey deeper into Laos, the river scenes are forever changing, always interesting.
En-route to Pakbeng you will visit a minority-tribe community, then you continue along this fast-flowing magnificent waterway until late afternoon.
Your overnight stop is at Pakbeng, where you will stay in a comfortable lodge perched on a hillside alongside the Mekong River.
The lodge and it’s magnificent location, is always a highlight on any itinerary. Views along the river valley are stunning.
Dinner is provided this evening, as well as breakfast in the morning.
Day 10 Pakbeng to Luang Prabang
Day two on the Luangsay riverboat will continue to fascinate with each sweeping turn of the powerful and scenic Mekong.
Tree-clad hills slope down to the river and every so often a traditional Lao village can be seen clinging to the upper sides of the riverbank.
A short stop is made later this morning at a riverside village, and after lunch on-board, you’ll visit Pak Ou caves, which contains thousands of Bhudda images.
Late this afternoon you arrive in Luang Prabang, where you’ll be met and transferred to your charming villa-style hotel.
Dinner is included tonight.
Day 11 Luang Prabang
Old Luang Prabang is a tranquil and beautiful town, gleaming temples mixed with French colonial and ‘old Asia’ architectural-styled shop-houses protected by World Heritage status.
Encircled by mountains at the confluence of the Mekong and Khan rivers, Luang Prabang delights the senses at every twist and turn.
This afternoon you will be taken to see the Royal Palace Museum, Mount Phousi and the beautiful Wat Xieng Thong temple.
Day 12 Luang Prabang
If you get up early this morning you’ll be able to watch the procession of monks through the main street of Luang Prabang.
Later this morning you will join a sightseeing trip that will take you into the countryside: you’ll stop in a Lao village, then go on to the lovely Kuang Si Falls, where you will have time for a refreshing swim if you wish.
Day 13 Luang Prabang
Today is free to absorb the old-world atmosphere of Luang Prabang: visit some of the beautiful temples or just stroll at leisure through the town, along the riversides and among the friendly Lao people.
Dinner is included tonight at a delightful local restaurant.
Day 14 Luang Prabang to Siem Reap
Today it’s time to say farewell to beautiful Laos and move on to the next exciting stage of your SouthEast Asian odyssey.
After checking-out of your hotel you will be transferred to Luang Prabang Airport for your flight to Siem Reap.
On arrival, you will be taken to your hotel in Seam Reap, and after you’ve been checked in, you might like to spend a little time relaxing around the pool, perhaps take a refreshing swim. [Sokhalay Angkor Resort and Spa]
Day 15 Siem Reap
This morning our local guide will escort you on a tour of one of the truly great architectual wonders of the world: Angkor Wat.
This astonishingly beautiful complex of temples, which dates back to the 12th Century, will both amaze you and inspire you.
A sumptuous lunch-time Khmer meal is included.
Day 16 Siem Reap
This is a free day to relax and wander through this charming riverside town, with its tree-lined French-style boulevards and shop-houses.
And set aside a few moments to reflect on all the amazing places you’ve seen during your travels in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, a journey that will surely create wonderful lifetime memories for you.

Day 17 Siem Reap to Bangkok
The time has now come to say farewell to Cambodia; late this morning you will be transferred from your hotel to Siem Reap Airport for your flight to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.
